Additionally, we may use your details to notify you of important information and to follow up with you after the completion of our educational courses. However, unless you consent to us doing so, we will never add your details to a marketing list, and we will never share your data with a third party.

We use several products to analyse traffic to this website in order to understand our visitors’ needs and to continually improve our site for them. We collect only anonymous, aggregate statistics. For example, we do not tie a specific visit to a specific IP address.

How we keep the data safe

All data we hold is secured by Firewall and Anti-virus data measures. This protection is consistently updated as new as and when new updates or versions become available and installed, monitored and serviced by Astec, our professional IT servicing provider. All information is encrypted and password protected.

We do not share, sell or pass on your information to anyone else, third party individuals or organisations for their own gains or marketing purposes.

To help you stay safe we advise that you choose a strong password. A strong password consists of at least 10 characters and includes a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Never share your password.

Training

Staff handling any of your data are trained in the correct duties and disciplines for the safe handling of your data.

Mailing lists

We have a separate registration process for our mailing list. We use that information for a couple of reasons:

  • To inform you of things you’ve asked us to tell you about.
  • To contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information.
  • To check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied.
  • We do not rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our Email and bulletins. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry-standard technologies to help us monitor and improve the content. Event booking data

We also use “Eventbrite” an online booking service for educational events or lecture programs hosted by No7. They will need to understand personal information to satisfy booking details. For information on their privacy policy please click here.

Purchasing products

When you purchase a product with us by phone, email, fax or online your name, address data, email, contact number including any patient data that we would need to process on your behalf will be stored in our ordering system and/or product design software along with specification details of order request.  This is kept for future reference to ease future order processing and regulatory reasons. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company and would never attempt to do so without your consent.

Public information and third-party websites

  • Blog. Any information you include in a comment in a blog may be read, collected, and used by anyone. If your Personal Information should ever appear on a No7 blog and you want it removed, please contact us. If we are unable to remove your information, we will tell you why.
  • Social media platforms. Our websites include social media features, these features may collect information about your IP address and which page you are visiting on our Website, and they may set a cookie to make sure the feature functions properly. Should No7 Contact Lenses sell on its assets or merge with any other or be acquired by any separate entity information may need to be provided to such third party for the continuation of purpose.
